Kitchen Guru wins Ideas to Dine For! EXPO 2006

Kitchen Guru is celebrating after landing top prize in the Ideas to Dine for 2006 Awards at the Food and Drink Expo 2006, held at Birmingham’s NEC.
The award was supported by Food from Britain and judged by a panel of experts including celebrity chef – Jean-Cristophe Novelli (Chair of competition), Daily Telegraph Food writer & critic Rose Prince and Waitrose buyer Graham Cassie.
Jean-Cristophe Novelli said he was particularly impressed with the flavour of the home-made curry and how easy it was to cook and was a definite convert to the Kitchen Guru concept.

Kitchen Guru wins Best Small Exporter 2005 AWARDS

Sponsered by Yorkshire Forward and organised by UK Trade & Investment. The award was presented by UK’s most entertaining and motivational female speaker – Frances Edmonds.
Kitchen Guru now export to over 8 countries within 3 years and have won the pretigious ‘Best Small Exporter’ Award.
“There is a terrific demand for Indian food abroad and they really seem to take to the Kitchen Guru concept of preparing fresh Indian Food at home using fresh authentic spices from our packs. Indian food is perceived as being sophisticated and exotic to outside Britain and has an “upmarket” image on the continent and the US. Our product suits international tastes for freshly spiced and prepared food, a contrast to the typical “ready meals”.

Orgainised by Food from Britain – France, the award was presented by the British Ambassador in Paris, Sir John Holmes and by Dominique Mine, Managing Director of Food from Britain – France.

Kitchen Guru wins top award for ‘Packaging of the Year’. The award was judged on design, innovation and convenience without compromising authenticity.

Kitchen Guru wins Fresh Ideas at IFE LONDON 2003

A panel of industry experts including buyers from M & S and Waitrose were asked
to identify products that were genuinely new to the UK market, representing creativity and innovation. Kitchen Guru products were selected as the best concept and was praised for bringing something new to the thousands of buyers attending IFE, while aiding the advancement of the rapidly expanding ethnic food sector.

Kitchen Guru, a runner-up for the Young Enterprise of the Year 2003. The Award was sponsored by BT Redcare Food and presented by John Frumston. The award was based on fastest growing young businesses.

Kitchen Guru, a runner up for the most innovative food product 2003. The awards were organised by Food From Britain and judged by a panel of industry experts attending the bi-annual show in Cologne, Germany.

Kitchen Guru finalist Judges Special Award AIM AWARDS 2003

The Judges Special Award was for those products that the judges felt were the first of a kind and sure to spur the NPD departments of the UK food companies into action. All the nominations came from the judges themselves, an indication of the high regard each of the finalists deserve. These products are all truely ground breaking.

Kitchen Guru wins Business Idea and Potential LEEDS INNOVATIONS 2002

Kitchen Guru won 1st Prize of £3500 and support by Forward Group. KG was selected by the judges for business potential, market awareness and originality. The competition was organised by Leeds Innovations and judged by Vice- Chancellor Professor Sir Alan Wilson, vice-chair of corporate finance at KPMG, William Nabarro, and chair of Forward Group, Ray Chamberlain.
